Maggie is expecting, but father-to-be, Greg, is concerned about her weight. Not because she’s losing her slim physique, but because she’s becoming so enormous that he fears for her safety. Since not even their new age midwife seems to take him seriously, Greg starts to think it’s all in his own head… until he discovers the problem is not at all what he expected.

WHAT TO EXPECT… is a dark comedy about pregnancy, anxiety and the helplessness felt by a husband who is mystified by the process of his wife’s gestation. In this story, Greg is caught between concerns for Maggie’s well-being and the notion that it’s her body and she understands better than he does what’s happening to it.

WHAT TO EXPECT… is the sixth film by writer/director Aaron Rudelson and was the product of a collaboration with Daily Fiber Films. It premiered on March 9th at the IRON MULE SHORT COMEDY SCREENING SERIES in New York, and followed April 5th with a screening at the FRIARS CLUB COMEDY FILM FESTIVAL.
